Real Estate: consultation and representation to sellers and buyers in residential matters including drafting of sales agreements, deeds, and related conveyancing documents; title examination and title issues, estate tax and other lien discharges, drafting of non-residency tax forms, attendance at closings.
About David Meegan:
David received his Juris Doctor degree from DePaul University, College of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Providence College. Beyond his full time practice, he taught Legal Ethics/Philosophy of Law for 15 years at Roger Williams University, Humanities program, and for several years was an instructor for the real estate license preparatory course for one of the large national real estate agencies. He has given a presentation on the Developments in Real Estate Law for the Rhode Island Bar Association and has served as a seminar moderator on elder law at the Bar Association’s annual meeting. His community service includes involvement with Habitat for Humanity of Rhode Island, South County Chapter, since its inception, and over 30 years of active participation in Rotary International projects.
